Who Are We ?
When most companies are busy making luxury, big and nice-looking furniture, our owner, also the general engineer, Mr Wu, has been investing his expertise on 10 years’ research and development of extendable tables to fulfill most customers underlying request for Room Space Saving.
Yes, we do not follow suit from our beginning in 2005. But what motivates Meedpower Furniture to begin this journey ?
Being an entrepreneur, Mr Wu is aware that houses are getting smaller and smaller. Most apartments could not hold big furniture. That is why he has been setting his sights on making something different, something that could solve the problem of small house space.
“My wish since the day I started this company, was to put higher priority on pragmatism rather than on high margins. Now, we take pride in manufacturing practical, simple and quality tables as well as chairs.” Mr Wu commented.
A Tight Spot
Most customers adopt simple purchasing rules-low price. Some factories offer very cheap price by reducing production process and lowering raw material quality. This was caught in a tight spot at the outset because most customers are not able to see the truth and difference.
However, it usually comes with bad quality, serious delivery delay and poor service. Actually,we can’t beat any in price. We think quality should always come first. Poor goods will kill future market and cooperation. Fortunately, after using our tables, customers eventually find out that Meedpower’s products are really fantastic.
First, we believe our prices should be competitive among same level products. At our local area, there are many raw material manufacturers and we keep good relationship with them. We have large and stable purchase quantity from them monthly. They guarantee to supply us quality material with best price. Moreover, seeing from our sales records, 60% of our customers are wholesales who are sensitive to prices. They sell our goods very well.

Raw material control
Our suppliers guarantee to supply us quality material as well as technical support. Good raw materials are the basic for a quality product. Cheaper materials are strictly forbidden in our factory.
Outsourcing parts control
Some parts of products are outsourcing. We have a strict inspection process. Our 4 supervisors will check details one by one, such as sizes, appearance, as well as performance.
Our factory has three main workshops to manufacture metal, wood and upholestery. Each workshop has strict production regulations. All semi-parts would be checked before going to assembling workshop.This guarantees stable quality and delivery date. Finally, three workers check end products one by one to make sure they are qualified and work well.
Regular delivery time is 40 days after deposit payment received. For urgent order, we can finish it in 30 days.
If any customers make quality complains, we’ll forward it to our service team. They will report directly to our factory manager. Usually we will hold a meeting with production,purchasing and packaging departments in 24 hours, and will response in 48 hours with feedbacks and solutions.
